Sara Baurley

Hi there! I'm Sara Baurley, and yes, it is pronounced like the grain (bar-lee). 
I am a freelance photographer + photo assistant living and working in Atlanta, Georgia. I am originally from a beach town in South Florida; it was the kind of place where you learn to drive a boat before a car. I lived in Savannah, Georgia, during my college years at the Savannah College of Art and Design. In the Spring of 2022, I graduated a year early with a BFA in photography and a minor in business management and entrepreneurship with honors. Following graduation, I accepted a year-long photo fellowship position at Dotdash Meredith's Food Studios in Birmingham, Alabama, where I learned from some of the industry's best photographers at America's largest publishing company. My time at Dotdash Meredith's Food Studios elevated me as a photo assistant and photographer. Shortly afterward, I moved back to Georgia but this time to Atlanta. These days you can catch me freelance assisting on photo sets in Atlanta. During dance season, you can find me on weekends at Showstopper's dance competitions across America, photographing some of the most talented competitive dancers.
